Introduction
QuantMesh is the on-chain settlement-and-access layer for quantum compute, the Akash and Render of quantum. It turns fragmented D-Wave, IonQ, IBM, and Rigetti hours into one staked-access, trustless-settlement marketplace.
Launching on Virtuals (Base).
The problem
Quantum crossed into verified advantage. Willow ran roughly 13,000x faster than the top classical supercomputer on the reference benchmark, and recent work simulated a roughly 12,000-atom biomolecule. Governments started buying equity, with about $2B of US CHIPS funding committed across nine firms.
Access is the bottleneck. QPU time runs $100 to $3,000+/hr, IonQ reservations have been cited near $7,000/hr, and every vendor is a bespoke billing portal. Annealers and gate-model machines sit on separate access planes with no neutral layer to route and settle across them.
How QuantMesh works
- Staked accessStake $MESH to buy on-chain quantum hours. One account, one balance, every backend.
- Multi-backend routingOne plane across annealers and gate-model machines. Jobs route to the backend that fits the workload and the price.
- Trustless settlement and attestationOn-chain settlement, per-job attestation, and SLA terms enforced at the protocol layer.
- Demand-driven economicsReal usage drives $MESH, the proven GPU-marketplace flywheel applied to quantum capacity.
Where QuantMesh fits
The neutral multi-QPU aggregator is being won off-chain by several capable teams, but none of those is crypto-native or on-chain. The one near-direct on-chain comparable is security benchmark-mining, not enterprise rental and settlement.
No incumbent is the Akash for quantum capacity. The aggregators and hardware teams are peers we settle for, not rivals.

FAQ
What is QuantMesh?+
An on-chain settlement and access layer for quantum compute, aggregating hours from multiple QPU backends behind one staked-access marketplace.
Why does quantum compute need an on-chain layer?+
Access is fragmented across bespoke vendor portals. On-chain access and settlement give buyers one neutral balance, transparent pricing, and verifiable per-job attestation.
How is it different from the off-chain aggregators?+
We settle on-chain, they do not. Off-chain aggregators are real peers on multi-QPU access. None is crypto-native or trust-minimized at the settlement layer.
Is there a product yet?+
Pre-launch. The board and mesh on the site are illustrative previews. Docs and token come first, then routed backends.
When does $MESH launch?+
On Virtuals (Base). Date not announced. Follow the X account for the launch window.
